臺中市獨立書店複合式機能轉型之研究

近年來臺灣人的閱讀模式開始轉變，多數實體書店皆受到影響逐漸走向蕭條，然而「獨立書店」一詞的出現重新顛覆讀者對於書店的想像，獨立書店正透過自身的力量影響城市的定位與文化發展，也積極因應目前的書店市場朝複合式書店為導向。現今多數人對於「獨立書店」的本質以及認知均停留在「非連鎖的書店」的表象上，因此本研究將積極探討獨立書店的價值，以「臺中市」作為本次研究的主要調查城市，提出以下研究目的：1.發掘獨立書店的本質與意義2.臺中市的城市性格或文化特色與獨立書店之間的相互關係3.複合式空間對於獨立書店的空間行為影響。

本研究藉由「田野調查法」來收集厚數據，透過實地訪查資料與文獻分析交叉比對的方式挖掘獨立書店的文化價值與城市脈絡間的關係，精準的詮釋獨立書店的文化定位。研究中使用「深度訪談法」歸納出益於獨立書店發展的趨勢跟「經營者、讀者、場域營造與社會影響」層面之關係，並利用「實地訪查」挖掘獨立書店與城市間的樞紐，剖析獨立書店的發展趨勢，善用研究中所繪製的「空間紀錄圖」來探究複合式空間對獨立書店營運模式所帶來的優勢。

本研究將為臺灣獨立書店的現況進行數據統整，並進行單一城市的精確調查，針對書店空間的場域營造提出室內設計觀點，包含：「複合式機能、空間型態與動線規劃」之優勢分析，希望能為獨立書店的發展提供設計基礎及空間意見。

In recent years, the reading habits of Taiwanese people have begun to change. Most of the retail bookstores have been affected and book selling are gradually declining. However, the term "independent bookstore" has established readers of modern bookstores idea. Independent bookstores have their unique character in adding city culture and addressing the bookstore styles in their own market positioning. To develop, it is also actively responding to the retail bookstore market, which is oriented toward complex bookstores. Nowadays, most people's cognition of "independent bookstores" is still on the appearance of "non-chain bookstores". Therefore, this study will explain the value of independent bookstores' existence. The target city is Taichung to this survey. The use "valid sample size" and the diverse bookstore style of this research. The research purpose is as follows: 1. To discover the essence and significance of independent bookstores; 2. The relationship between the urban character or cultural characteristics of Taichung and independent bookstores; The spatial behavioral impact of independent bookstores.

This study uses the fieldwork method to dig out the relationship between the cultural value of independent bookstores and the context of the city through the cross-comparison of field data and literature analysis and interprets the cultural positioning of independent bookstores.

This study will conduct data integration on the current situation of independent bookstores in Taiwan. Conducting an accurate survey of a single city and propose a good interior design point of view to add to the pleasant space of bookstore interior. Identify a superior design database and the future development of its attraction of independent bookstores.
