Abstract
2022年開始AI生成技術大爆發,在以大量的資料模組的資源,透過生成式應用程式,使用者只需輸入些文字敘述即可快速產生多量產生所對應的圖樣,在運用這技術下改變了許多產業生態,本篇借以AI生成圖像技術來探討對於「印花設計」的產生與改變。傳統的「印花設計」圖樣最早由手工製作於紡織品上到後來數位製作,使得「印花設計」圖樣可運用在更多的可印製品上,本研究透過文獻探討及案例分析,了解過往與現今印花市場技術及AI生成技術發展狀態。本研究問卷採用Likert五段量表,以網路隨機發送,問卷主要了解對於圖樣的偏好、流行的趨勢及對AI生成圖像技術的認知程度。調查結果顯示,絕大多數受測者了解人工智慧生成圖像,即使在本次以沒有設計背景的偏多的族群中,也有相對高的認知度,反映了技術的廣泛滲透性和普遍興趣,此術不僅吸引設計專業人士,亦吸引其他領域人士的注意。在時尚趨勢和圖案偏好大多數人會以數位媒體獲取資訊,數位媒體在對於塑造時尚趨勢和消費者行為方面有所影響力,會關注商品永續性和環境影響社會責任和永續發展。雖然多數人涉略時尚趨勢和評論,但不完全跟隨或依賴名人影響,仍以優先考慮個人喜好和產品實用性,選擇符合自己品味和風格的圖案,而非只受外在或是否具流行性因素影響,對於創意且有意義的圖案及個性化,產生吸引注意力並引起共鳴及青睞,因其能體現個性和獨特性。本研究基於「AI生成圖像」對於「印花設計」產生的設計過程研究,將AI生成圖像的做為創意起點,結合專業技術,快速創作出符合消費者需求的作品。
Since 2022, there has been an explosive growth in AI generation technology. Leveraging vast amounts of data and model resources, generative applications allow users to quickly produce numerous corresponding patterns with just a few text descriptions. This technology has transformed many industry ecosystems. This article explores the impact and changes brought by AI-generated image technology on "print design."
Traditional "print design" patterns were initially created manually on textiles and later transitioned to digital production, enabling their application on a broader range of printable products. This study uses literature review and case analysis to understand the past and current states of print market technology and the development of AI generation technology. The survey in this study employs a Likert five-point scale and is randomly distributed online. The questionnaire primarily seeks to understand preferences for patterns, fashion trends, and the awareness of AI-generated image technology. Results indicate that the vast majority of respondents are aware of AI-generated images, even among those without a design background, reflecting the technology's widespread penetration and general interest. This technology not only attracts design professionals but also garners attention from individuals in other fields. Regarding fashion trends and pattern preferences, most people obtain information from digital media. Digital media significantly influence fashion trends and consumer behavior and highlight the importance of product sustainability and environmental impact, as well as social responsibility and sustainable development. Although many people follow fashion trends and reviews, they do not completely depend on celebrity influence, prioritizing personal preferences and the practicality of products. They choose patterns that align with their taste and style, rather than being driven solely by external or trendy factors. Creative and meaningful patterns, as well as personalization, attract attention and resonate because they reflect individuality and uniqueness. This study bases its research on the design process of “AI-generated images” for “print design,” using AI-generated images as creative starting points. Combined with professional techniques, this results in quickly created works that meet consumer needs.
