Abstract
根據聯合國研究指出塑膠包裝為主要汙染源,或因使用者的不當回收;或因設計者未考量包裝材質的分類再生與分解特性,環境充斥各式各樣的包裝廢棄物,成為影響人們生活品質與生態健康的汙染物。有鑒於此,研究者選擇深入手機包裝設計的永續議題進行研究探討,並嘗試採用新的創意思維來改變手機包裝材質,期盼從根源改善塑膠汙染與垃圾問題。在研究初期,發現iPhone手機在2016年以減塑包裝做為行銷議題,並演化出能夠減少碳排放的包裝,故採iPhone手機包裝作為個案研究主題,透過文獻探討、內容分析與半結構式訪談來進行資料蒐集,以2008至2022年推出之iPhone手機包裝做為研究樣本,分析iPhone手機包裝的發展脈絡,歸納出手機包裝在永續發展上的可能性。研究結果發現綠色包裝設計實踐SDGs,需從綠色設計3R核心理念、生命週期評估模式結合循環經濟發展模式,需在設計一開始就考量材料選擇、開發規畫、生產管理、運輸儲存、循環再生等5大構面。進一步研究15年來iPhone手機包裝演進後,區隔出5個改革世代,並從中發現10項包裝發展趨勢,同時發現6項改變與5項不變的地方。在SDGs目標達成方面,確認研究成果能促進達成目標6、目標12、目標14與目標15等四項,並建構出永續性手機包裝設計發展模式。
According to a United Nations study, plastic packaging is a major source of pollution. Either due to improper recycling by users, or the designers did not consider the classification, recycling and decomposition characteristics of packaging materials, the environment is full of various packaging wastes, which have become pollutants that affect people's quality of life and ecological health. In view of this, the researchers chose to study and discuss the sustainable issues of mobile phone packaging design, and tried to change the material of mobile phone packaging with new creative thinking, hoping to improve the plastic pollution and garbage problems from the root. In the early stage of the research, it was found that the iPhone mobile phone used plastic reduction packaging as a marketing topic in 2016, and the packaging that can reduce carbon emissions has evolved. Therefore, take iPhone packaging as a case study object. Data collection is conducted through literature review, content analysis and semi-structured interviews. Taking the iPhone packaging launched from 2008 to 2022 as a research sample, this paper analyzes the development of iPhone packaging and summarizes the possibility of sustainable development of mobile phone packaging. The research results show that when implementing SDGs in green packaging design, it is necessary to combine the 3R core concept of green design, life cycle assessment model and circular economy development model. Material selection, development planning, production management, transportation storage, recycling, etc. need to be considered from the beginning of design. After further research on the evolution of iPhone packaging in the past 15 years, five generations of change were divided, 10 packaging development trends were discovered, and 6 changes and 5 unchanged categories were found. In terms of achieving SDGs goals, it is confirmed that the research results can promote the realization of Goal 6, Goal 12, Goal 14 and Goal 15, and build a sustainable mobile phone packaging design development model.
