台灣趣味諺語應用於皮革用品設計創作

結合台灣在地文化與全球市場產生區隔性，為皮革工藝設計師與業者共同課題。台灣趣味諺語為台灣時光流轉下智慧的呈現，藉由此文化基底，進行設計發想，本創作以帶有趣味喻意之台灣諺語為聯想基底，將台灣趣味諺語喻意或內涵，將現代思潮帶入皮革用品設計中。
本創作以台灣趣味諺語結合產品語意概念應用於植鞣革皮革創作上，依不同台灣趣味諺語創造皮革作品，藉由類推（analogies）、直諭（similes）、隱喻（metaphors）及符號系統進行創作思考，適切傳達台灣趣味諺語與皮革作品之關聯性，並思考皮革作品外型設計、拆解各細節設計、使用功能性、客製化需求及符合現代潮流…等建構皮革作品，以創造具有台灣趣味諺語內涵特色的皮革用品，並藉由細節設計內涵提升產品價值，由單純產品機能的考量轉變為對產品整體心理感受與評價。

Understanding Taiwan local culture and its effects on leather products is important to both designers and manufactures. This study designs the leather products are based on a cultural belief of significant importance. And discuss the incorporation of modern designs and modern meanings while comparing and contracting those meanings to Taiwan’s historical symbols and meanings.
This study applied the theory of product semantics to the vegetable-tanned leather good designs. These designs include product semantics types of analogies, similes, metaphors, and symbols. It is appropriate to convey the connection between Taiwanese proverbs and leather goods design. When determining a design to use, must consider the historical significance of the proverbs and understand the various meanings of it. And consider the dismantling of each leather goods detail design, the functionality, the customization, and modern trend... etc. By leather goods design connotations enhance the value of the product and the user's psychological feelings towards the product.
