《背包客的足跡》－南美洲紀實攝影

攝影術的發明，成為近代用於創作及紀錄的一種媒介，而紀實攝影是一種透過相機把真實世界所發生的事情不加以扭曲或過分改造的攝影方式，如實的將某個片刻帶到觀者眼前，讓觀者得以從影像中獲得資訊，並感受某個未曾參與的片刻，亦能發揮社會關懷的功用，讓更多人得以看見世界各個角落正在發生的事。人類的生活經歷了各種世代的演變，從遠古石器時代到農耕畜牧時代，再經歷了18世紀的工業革命，開啟了近代經濟革命的嶄新一頁，來到21世紀這個資訊及科技大躍進的世代。隨著工業技術的進步，帶來便利的交通運輸，因而拉進了國與國之間的距離，加上科技資訊的快速傳播，使得全球化浪潮銳不可擋。而生活在這個世代的我們，許多人藉由出國旅行的方式真實並快速認識某個地方，也因科技的進步，讓各種資訊的取得更加容易，使自助旅行的風氣漸漸盛行，越來越多人選擇以背包客的旅行方式，用較拮据的預算，卻更深入的與當地人接觸，融入並體驗各國的飲食、語言、文化、生活型態、景點…等，來認識世界、擴充自己的視野，建立自己的真實經歷，以跟上全球化的腳步。但相較於其他歐美國家，南美洲因距離台灣遙遠，加上該區域多數國家使用西班牙語造成語言上的限制，因此多數台灣人出國時並不會將南美洲作為旅遊首選，但南美洲擁有豐富的天然資源，是登山客的天堂，也擁有歷史悠久的印第安文化與印加古文明，更是通往南極的門戶，是塊神秘又珍貴的大陸版塊，值得所有人深入探訪並認識的地方。

因此綜合上述，本創作研究將以背包客的旅行方式，前往南美洲六國進行紀實攝影創作，希望透過影像將南美洲的自然景觀、歷史、文化、生活…等真實樣貌呈現給觀者，讓更多人得以認識南美洲這塊美麗的大陸，並希望藉由影像的力量發揮社會關懷的功能，使更多人關注世界各地正在發生的社會議題，成為全球化下合格的世界公民。

to the Neolithic era, humans’ life has undergone ceaseless
evolution through centuries. The Industrial Revolution in the 1700s made a
whole new start to the contemporary economic revolution, followed by the 21st
century in which both information and techn ology have rapid progress. The
invention of photography has become a medium for creation and record. As for
documentary photography, it is a photographic approach that neither distorts nor
overly modifies what happens in reality, providing viewers with gen uinely
natural moments to acquire information from the photos, experiencing the event
that they have never engaged in. Besides, this approach plays a role in social
concern, exposes people to what is happening in every corner of the globe.

transportation, which could be attributed to the progress of industrial skills,
shortened the distances between countries, resulting in unstoppable
globalization. Nowadays, many people get to know the world by traveling, and
due to the technological breakthrough, we have more access to all kinds of
information, so backpacking has been a trend these days, that is, more and more
people opt to be backpackers, who tend to explore local areas and i ndulge
themselves in the natural scenery, local diets, exotic lifestyle with a limited
budget, and extended period of stay.
However, compared to other western countries, South America is much farther
from Taiwan; additionally, the mother tongue in most So uth American countries

Consequently, most Taiwanese tourists hardly prioritize South America when
going abroad, so people are relatively unfamiliar with the issue concerning the
