Abstract
隨著多媒體蓬勃發展之緣故,在3D動畫領域開始有針對生物生命型態之仿生模擬。伴隨著碎形的概念已經被融入生活以及藝術之中,碎形幾何學的出現,使得許多事物可以有不同面向的計算或是處理方式。並在日常生活中佔有舉足輕重的地位,那些不規則、不穩定、具變動性的現象,都可以應用碎形獲得解釋。基於上述,本創作嘗試藉由碎形程序,針對生命形態進行仿生模擬之動畫實驗,進而歸整出碎形結構與程序規則的關聯性,以開啟新的動畫形式之可能。
此創作以Blender 3D軟體及其Animation Node輔助外掛為平台,透過碎形程式及電腦自動編程程序來呈現複雜的生命樣態。以「蛻」作為動畫標題,用以隱喻生命現象如碎形演化般地不斷疊代衍生與循環。即使清晰如程式語言,也難真確掌握自然中的混沌現象與模糊感,作為創作者的立場,這可能是此類型動畫最吸引人之處。

With the flourishing of multimedia, there are quite amounts of artists attempt to simulate organics biologically in 3D animation. The idea of fractals has been adopted into our daily life and art widely. Based on the emergence of fractal geometry, things are able to be calculated and processed in different aspects. Many irregular, unstable and mobile phenomena in life, all can be interpreted with fractals flawlessly. Therefor I attempt to create a 3D procedural animation through L-system from fractal formulas to trace lives, then sort out the correlation between the fractal structures and the procedure nodes.
I adopt the 3D software, Blender, as the primary tool due to its superiority and Animation Node plug-in for auxiliary. Hopefully, the trace of fractals will shape the forms of being to represent Nature. The title of thesis "Tui" implies the metamorphosis in life carried out with the ceaseless propagation in generations of fractals. The final result is that since applying fractal structures through the procedure nodes will save time in programming, the chaotic or ambiguous phenomenon in nature is hard to be managed still. As a creator, it might be the most attractive part under the whole process.
